Friday brought another test of our remote work skill. We needed to checkout at noon. I had meetings planned until 11:30am, and again starting at 2pm, and Thimm had his final deadline at 2pm. My meeting ran a bit over, and at 11:45am I began to also run, throwing together my things and putting things in order before jumping into the van.
We essentially used lunch time to head toward our next destination, our #mindfulness retreat, where we would be without electricity on an agritourism farm called urnatur,
urnatur.se/en/. Eventually, we found a nice park, and chose to set up there for the next few hours. It is so nice to be able to have this movable office. It also just happens that the rear of the van has a small shelf that is the perfect height for a standing desk. We both managed to finish up our workdays successfully, for me, the past few work days included presenting and delivering some of our current PI results; I can happily say the client seemed very satisfied! Good job team! :)
Once the computers were closed, we continued onward toward urnatur, the start of a one-of-a-kind weekend.
