What is urnatur? Well, it was named for the play on words, “you are nature”, and the philosophy embedded in everything there aligns with these words.
The founders, Ulrika and Håkan, have been working the land for over 30 years. They themselves built each of the tree houses and cabins, the architectural marvel of the community room, and all the outdoor areas. They’ve tirelessly turned the grass, moved the rocks, rewilded areas with livestock, and tended to them just as well. This land itself consists of a large forest, several different pastured areas and meadows, ponds, and a large lake.
What the two are doing here is truly impactful work not only for our climate, but also in-line with the diconium principle which sent us here: To inspire all those who visit to be more #mindful of their actions and interaction with nature.
