Next up is Raffael Johnen, the founder and ceo of auxmoney, a money lending platform.
He starts his presentation with trends that are changing the business of money lending.
  1. The work environment has changed. While years ago people used to work for years for the same company, short-term contracts and freelancers are more and more popular. Those people do not fit in the traditional scoring systems.
  2. Many people are now doing things online. They expect a good user experience and real-time communication.
„We can clearly see the consumer behavior changing in favor of tech-enabled lending.“

Johnen explains that traditional lenders simply take their traditional ways of lending money and transform that one-to-one into the online world. But looking at the trends mentioned above you have to look differently at people who want to lend money. You have to be able to analyze data and create a better and predictable and risk-adjusted returns.

With it’s new approach auxmoney is targeting more customers than traditional banks and offers them a seamless paperless process. „Consumers want a really fast credit decision“ – and that’s what auxmoney tries to offer.

Manlio Accardo (CEO and Founder of Sailogy) asks at the start of his presentation "You might ask yourself, do we really need another sailing charter company on the market?", before he explains his audience the advantages of booking with Sailogy.

"We are obsessed with service!", Accardo makes sure. Sailogy gives detailed information about the boats of the charter companies they are working together with to their customers, "this is something that is often missing when you charter somewhere else but you need to know those details" Accardo says, while pointing out the "bunkbeds" that are shown in the details section of a Sailogy boat. "You don't wanna sleep in a bunk bed for a week, it ruins your experience", he explains about how his company is honest with their customers.
Sailogy also aims for making sailing holidays accessible to everyone by having many different models in their fleet; their platform provides immediate access to more than 20,000 yachts of different types in 2,000 handpicked destinations.
