The last fireside chat we’re covering in the liveblog is between Oliver Steil, CEO of Teamviewer and Marco Rodzynek.

Oliver Steil shares some numbers with us: Teamviewer is installed on 1.7bn devices, has 300m users every year and 100m every month.
„This makes you one of the European companies with the largest user base“, comments Marco. „And we did it, growing out of Europe“, Oliver adds.

The US is the biggest market for Teamviewer. Currently they’re operating only with a few local offices. As Oliver Steil is looking for new growth opportunities, this will change. „In some markets like Japan – which is a local market – we’re about to open local offices in order to grow our revenue there systematically.“

Asana - The worlds fastest growing Player in the Area of Work Management

Asana is a work management tool that also we here at NOAH are using. „We find it quite helpful“, says Marco as he is introducing Chris Farinacci, the Head of Business from Asana.

He briefly explains the problem Asana is solving: „There is still this massive problem everywhere, where teams are trying to figure out who is doing what and when – vs. actual time being spent to work on the vision.“

But why is collaboration growing, while productivity lags?
Chris answer: „Coordination is the missing link in collaboration.“
Most companies have a structure consisting of tools responsible for content (like office applications, cloud storage) and tools that are responsible for communication (like slack or email). So there’s a need for a tool who is coordinating the employees using the existing infrastructure.
