"The digital revolution has two problems", starts Peter Bakenecker, Division President Germany & Switzerland for Mastercard his presentation.
"No.1: It's only finished, when everybody in the world can participate. No.2: If it has a positive impact."
He describes that the first challenge, the onboarding of people to a new system, is a huge - but could be done: "Look at India: Five years ago only 30 million people could participate in the digital ecosystem – today there are 400 million people able to do this", explains Peter Bakenecker.
