Dr. Diana Mantel

A computer engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Ignacio has held both technical and management positions in a variety of roles, including data engineer, data steward, data scientist, business analyst, and data architect.

He is currently the Head of Big Data Architecture, Governance, and Delivery at Telefonica de España after serving as head of customer experience and business analysis and strategy in the marketing department.

Throughout his career, Ignacio has also taught at universities and business schools—such as IE, ESIC, UNIR, IKN, AFI, CEREM and Nebrija—on issues around big data and digital transformation. He is passionate about technology, and its capabilities to make a new digital reality possible—one that connects customers with companies.
