An Essential Ingredient for Successful Anticipatory Action
Our work on Forecast-based Financing over the last years showed that without collaborations and partnerships anticipatory humanitarian action cannot be set-up in an effective and sustainable way. Join our session to learn from experiences and meet great humanitarians, meteorologists, Disaster Managers and scientists. The Anticipation Hub and the Risk-Informed Early Action Partnership (REAP) will showcase how global initiatives are supporting regional scaling-up of anticipatory action. Examples from West Africa and East Africa will help us to understand how collaboration can work well and what we all have to do to speak a joint “anticipation” language
