Wildfires are another problem and risk of climate change, as it is drought. This of course influences the food stability, for example when the crop yield declines. The oceans are getting warmer and warmer, too, so this ecosystem, already pretty frail, changes also a lot. "Many people live close to oceans", tells Coughlan. Storms increase, meaning that the rare hard storms, the "storms of legend", could start every year, emphasizes Coughlan. "It is not longer ,if it will happen', but ,when will it happen'."

How does the current situation concerning climate change look like? Well, Coughlan is honest: It looks bad. Especially the global youth raises its concerns about the future - so what can be done, and: how bad is it? There are more heat waves than ever, and the intensity of the heat waves increases, too. People with existing health conditons or no possibility of air condition will be especially vulnerable. "Many people who die of these circumstances die silently", tells Coughlan. "But because they die so quietly, they don't get a lot of attention." Because of that these heat waves are often not recognized enough as dangers.
