Franziska Leonhardt is now presenting Ave + Edam. Her startup is a DTC brand using innovative algorithms for personalizing beauty products."I asked myself, why can you personalize Musli already, but you can't personalize your skincare?", she says laughing while talking about the idea of Ave + Edam. "Some of you might think, this is a female topic, but 45 percent of our costumer are men", Leonhardt explains the need of beauty products that are customized to individual lifestyle and environmental factors the customer is exposed to.
"We are fundraising, so please don't be shy and get in touch with us!", she invited potential investors.

Femtasy: Erotic Audios for Women

Now it's time for a more sensual topic on Startup Stage: Nina Julie Lepique and Michael Holzner are presenting femtasy! Femtasy is the largest streaming platform for erotic audio content for women. After starting the presentation with a little snippet of one of their audios, Nina Julie Lepique asks the audience: "Many of you, especially the men, might ask themselves: Why does it need extra content for women?"

"Well, visual content only works for 30 percent of women, which leaves 70 percent without any product on the market", she says while further explaining that it is scientific prooven, that visual content "works" better for men than for women. Another advantage of audio is that it leaves space for fantasies without the restrictions of individual visual preferences. 
"We believe now is the momentum, to be successful in this market", Michael Holzner is sure and explains how Spotify or mindfulness apps show that the interest in audio is increasing. Furthermore, sex toys started to become more of a lifestyle product, just as female empowerment is rising and taboos seem to be easier to break. 
Femtasy plans to launch on the English market in early 2020.
