From underwear to travel luggages. Moving on to Superfari with the founder and CEO Tina Glage.
The company develops an intelligent travel device. „We all want to have a simple life, but traveling with luggage is not easy. We always travel with worries and anxiety: Will our private belongings be safe when they are unattended, e.g. in a train, plane, trunk of a car or hotel room?“

To make traveling more comfortable, Superfari offers a tracking device. The device collects and delivers all the details about their customers journey. „We know which plane you take, what kind of suitcase you are using and where your luggage is. Our device knows when an airplane departures and puts itself into flight mode. There are many trackers out there but only ours meet the aviation requirements.“

The startup is currently finalizing the production with a partner and looking for a next finance round. Their market is huge: In 2017 more than 22.7 million bags were mishandled caused a total of costs around $2.3bn.

The customers value proposition: „Superfari is your ticket to stress reduction.“

Kati Ernst is the co-founder of ooshi. Before founding the company she worked with McKinsey for over 10 years.
Her new company tackles the female hygiene market with an intelligent underwear.

„When it comes to female hygiene, women have usually only four options: Panty liners, tampons, sanitary towels or menstrual cups. These products are not luxury, these products have to be used by every women“, explains Ernst.
Over 30% of the women say, that they are not satisfied with the current hygiene products. Politics and NGOs are also pushing towards more sustainable hygiene products.

As a solution ooshi developed an underwear with an integrated membrane. This membrane stores the fluid and prevents it from leaking. Users should feel dry and much more comfortable. „We are the first company who got that certified by a very well known German institute.“

The companies numbers are impressive: It is 100% bootstrapped and already sold over 20.000 products.
„We are not specifically looking for funding but are here to ask you to spread the word and collaborate“, Ernst concludes.
