The Paris based ride-sharing company is already a veteran here at the NOAH.
Casual drives share the empty seats on long journeys with passengers going in the same directions and thereby splitting the costs. The community has over 75million members and operates in almost every European country, Russia and Brazil. And in each of the market the company is the no.1, as
Philippe Cayrol (VP Corporate and Business Development) is proud to mention. In doing so,
BlaBlaCar saves up to 1.6million tons of CO2 per year.
The Ridesharing company is now creating a new bus service, called
BlaBlaBus.
in Western Europe
BlaBlacar made an offer to buy
Ouibus and created a new brand. In doing so
BlaBlaCar can now operate in two complimentary markets: E.g. for journeys planned long time ahead
BlaBlaBus could be an additional option and attract new customers. The plan is to have 400 destinations in Europe by the end of 2019.
In other regions such as Russia
BlaBlaBus tries to lead the offline to online transition in the bus travel industry. In Q1 2019 alone
BlaBlaBus added 113 operators in Russia to their network.
