Of course a lot of copycats followed AUTO1 Group - but still, there is no real competitor in sight. This has to do with the trust of costumers, but also with the high amount of deals AUTO1 Group is able to do. This year they expanded their business model: they now also offer the cars to consumers. A platform, which is performance-based, was crucial for that new business model.
And what about the future? The car market will change, for sure: but Koç believes in adapting to the new market. A platform can always change, too, that's the advantage of a platform: "We will simply do what's best for the company."
