Mentor of the teams working on the third challenge is Isabell, founder of the endometriosis self help initiative Berlin. She believes that "digital solutions can provide a lot in terms of raising awareness and storytelling for patients and a disease such as endometriosis that is relatively unknown." In her opinion, this hackathon is a great opportunity to bring experts and creative minds from various disciplines together, IT, business, science etc., and to nail down an idea that could possibly change communication between patients and doctors as well as to alter the perception of endometriosis.

We've got some experienced mentors on board, but what motivates them to take part at Hacking Female Health? „I’m really passionate about making an impact and using data to making peoples lives better“ tells us Lukas, a data science developer. FJ, a UX designer, illustrates his motivation to mentor the participants by highlighting that „healthcare is the most satisfying job that I can get, so I’m really happy to be here for the weekend and help the teams out."
