Sujay Tyle, Co-Founder and CEO of Frontier Car Group, starts his presentation by stating, that his company is the largest used car-seller in emerging markets. Countries where the company is active include Nigeria, Pakistan or Mexico.

Used car trade is often associated with negative things like security concerns or risk discounts - issues the Frontier Car Group manages to solve. “We offer a fast service: you drive your car in, we will do the whole inspection within 15 minutes and half an hour later you will get told your price.”

For dealer the system is as easy – in a live auction they can bid for the offered cars.
The Frontier Car Group promises that customers can get cash wired to their bank account in less than one hour after the beginning of an inspection.

Asked about the Brexit, he replies that it’s not affecting AUTO1 too much as the British market is a right-driver-market and thereby anyway locked.
But another danger already exists with handling different currencies: „When you have stock, the currency exposure can be very dangerous.“
