The war in Ukraine and the pandemic led to even more unequal distribution of resources, says Isabella Weber. Whilst the Global North has little to fear in terms of serious consequences despite these crises, the Global South is facing severe repercussions such as food crises. Political and economic elites, on the other hand, are benefiting even more from this redistribution. This is a key problem of our time. -nk
