“In order to succeed we need you!"

Al Gore continues: "In the end three questions remain:

1. Must we change? Yes!
   
2. Can we change? Of course, we can!
   
3. But will we change?"
   

When Trump announced to pull out of the Paris climate agreement, Al Gore was quite worried other countries would use this as an excuse to get out as well: But the opposite happened. The day after, other countries announced that they will stay within the agreement: "And I am sure there will be another president and thus another chance. So, join us, be part of our will to change!"

As bad as the situation is – Al Gore doesn’t only want to talk about it: “I want to recruit you to change the situation!” He wants everybody to go out to work for companies that share the mission in changing the situation and being responsible in their use of the environment.

“There is a sustainability revolution – jobs in these areas are actually growing. In the moment, many companies still focus on a very narrow value range – but not on wider aspects like ethics and culture of the company – things that don’t come with a price tag. But they do have a value – and the best firms learn to value these aspects more and more.”
