Gerhard Cromme, Chairman of AUTO1 Group, is part of the NOAH since seven years - and noticed something special this year at once: Marco Rodzynek is not wearing his green tie, for the first time. But Rodzynek explains: "We all need change - even in leaving the tie at home!"

And change is important. Cromme emphasizes: "You have always have to have the changes in mind - and the digital world fascinates me. If I could have started here - well, Mark Zuckerberg would have a serious competitor in me!"

Between Tradition and Digitization

"It's an evolution, not a revolution", says Martin Ott (VD, MD Central Europe of Facebook) about the changes in traditional businesses and the impact of social media. A slow process, not turning the tables overnight. Gerhard Cromme, Chairman of AUTO1 Group, doesn't use Facebook himself - prejudices Ott can understand and tries to gain trust again for Facebook.

But does Europe already loose against Asia or the US by being too slow and too traditional in its business? Ott focuses on the positive aspects of technology: "Every technology has to have its use for the people!"
