Session preview: 6A: How can we bridge the gap between local and global adaptation monitoring?

14:24
30.10.2025
As discussions on the Global Goal on Adaptation (GGA) shift from design to delivery, connecting local MEL and accountability practices will be vital for success.

During this session, we will:
  • Provide local and actionable examples of how accountability and monitoring systems can be implemented at different scales.
  • Highlight next steps that Parties at COP30 need to mobilise to support grounding the GGA into local and national accountability frameworks.
  • Identify key actions beyond COP30 for international, national and local actors to ensure that adaptation monitoring can deliver for national and local actors.

Join us: Grounding the GGA in local realities post-COP30, 15:00 GMT
