"Innovation can extract tedious tasks out of everyday life," explains Hill, "and that helps us focus more on the things we enjoy. Sometimes that just means taking things out of the process - it doesn't sound flashy, but it's important. Sweegers wants to make the world a better place, but good innovations often become invisible because they work so well. "Curiosity is what drives me," says Hofmann, "but ideas are only the beginning: You have to challenge them and make them happen."
