Introducing the LLA principles

Our host Sushila Pandit introduced the principles for locally led adaptation, the focus of this year's event. 

The LLA principles are now endorsed by 125 organisations, institutions and governments.  

Sushila says: "Now is the time to move from the principles to practice - and CBA16 brings together the people who are doing things at the local level and highlights the principles in practice.

"The principles, based on evidence and consultation, force us to do things differently."
