Delivering LLA at ScaleThis session will discuss practical experiences in delivering LLA so far and what needs to happen to take LLA to scale. We will hear from LLA endorsers about their reflections on opportunities and bottlenecks. Questions for discussion include - What works? What incentives or structures make a difference?

How can applying the LLA principles help to resolve conflict?In this session, we will explore the role that the LLA principles can play when taking on the complex challenges faced by people living at the intersection of climate and conflict vulnerability. We will share examples where locally led actions have been successful in reducing conflict and enabling people to live and make a living despite the changing climate. One outcome of this session will be stories to share at COP27 to win key decision makers over to locally led adaptation by making the potential for action real.
Session 11:
How do we track progress of LLA in practice?If plurality, flexibility and transformation are foundational to the principles of LLA, how do we track progress and capture evidence? This session will look at how we can document evidence on LLA through the Resilience Platform.
Session 12:
Local climate solutions in cities: applying the LLA principles in slums and informal settlementsCommunities of the urban poor are implementing local climate solutions in cities across the Global South.Led by Slum Dwellers International (SDI) and the Cities Alliance, this session will look at how urban poor communities are applying the LLA principles using tools such as community-driven risk mapping and assessment, stakeholder forums, city and settlement climate action plans and the establishment of city funds to access climate finance at the local level.
