We were also able to try some of the amazing restaurants peppered around the city. Fede has Celiac disease, or in German, Zöliakie; this means that essentially any gluten (for example in the amount of 1/10th of a grain of rice), triggers an auto-immune reaction in the gut. As eating gluten-free also became a bit of a diet trend in the past years, the awareness for this has increased, but at the same time, sometimes it did more harm than good; as gluten-free for dieting purposes and gluten-free for health purposes have different requirements, and often the restaurants do not realize this. With all that in mind, we were able to find some really cool places, one of which let us sit directly on the water surrounded by a lovely ambiance.
