We then took one these boats ourselves, and kept driving, with the simple goal to get to the very end of the island. Soon enough, we really felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. The people began to shift from the normal friendly looks to not waving and giving curious gazes. We were certainly getting into the “we live out on the tip of the island for a reason” group. …
But! Luckily these people weren’t the only living things on this island, apart from a falcon and an owl that I was unable to photograph; we saw approximately 8 deer and … drum-roll please … a big moose! Worth it.
