Tuesday started with a nice big cup of coffee and a steady diet of work and meetings. Around 4pm, Thimm arrived! Thimm is the first of three DYL companions. With a background in machine learning, remote sensing, and geography he is now pursuing a startup in regenerative agriculture.
Shortly after that, Uwe arrived, the man who took on the journey of driving the van from Stuttgart to Oslo. He handed over the van and material, and then asked if we could drive him to the bus station. After enduring a solid 1500km drive, of course we dropped him off at the bus station! The van’s maiden voyage (for us) had begun!
When we got back to the house, we saw that we couldn’t fit through the small tunnel leading to the backyard where the AirBnB parking was. This means, we have to park on the street. This means, for a small price of an arm, a leg, and three fingers, you could park for the day. And we have to do this every day. We only have so many arms…
