After a wonderful sleep in the open air, we walked up and down this small island trying to find but a single mushroom. It seems we were just off, as Jaakko and Aino showed photos of their large hauls from exactly this time one year ago. Being the weather has been relatively dry, our general consensus was that the mushrooms needed a good rain to bring them out. A little rain dance set the stage for some crazy weather next week, but that’s a spoiler.
