The mission of the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER) Work Programme is to strengthen capacity for intersectoral cooperation and anticipatory action is one of the approaches for strengthening this multi-sectoral cooperation. It is very important that approaches such as anticipatory action will help us have more proactive outlooks for building resilience in the ASEAN region.
Anticipatory action has been integrated into the AADMER Work Programme and is gaining more momentum.
