One of the key components of anticipatory action is the availability of rapid and flexible funding to enable fast response. In tandem, we need to upscale anticipatory action approaches and invest in capacity efforts to ensure the approach is streamlined into humanitarian processes, and where possible, national government plans. Our work mustn´t act in a vacuum, and should link to larger resilience, DRM and humanitarian efforts so we are part of the continuum rather than siloed from it.
