Another use case for the new process is the automated review, e.g. of the splice connectors. „Usually it’s quite simple to check, whether only the allowed numbers of splice cables are connected. But as we’ve heard this morning, thousands of different versions from one vehicle type are being produced and this is where an automated counting check would safe time and increase the quality.“
This automated check will pilot in 2019.
