There is still the need to scale up implementation of anticipatory action and we have seen progress in Africa at national and regional levels as more and more stakeholders are joining forces to put anticipatory action into practice. We have also heard that stronger commitments are needed from governments, partners and donors and that we have to jointly work on the optimized use of our available resources, including the involvement of the private sector.
