Khairul Sheikh from the German Red Cross in Bangladesh comments on the urban-rural difference: Urban population is different compared to rural population mainly because the urban community is much more mobile and dynamic. In urban areas, there are  many more actors to involve, which all have to be considered. "If you miss one, they will come to you and might question your work."

Malika Noisette, Netherlands Red Cross explained the lessons on anticipatory action in Zambia for floods, which include: 1) the importance of having other sources of funding easily available for the National Societies to activate early actions when the EAP can't be activated using the FbA by the DREF and 2) having a team of (NLRC) colleagues available to support the National Societies through this quick decision making process to identify and allocate the best alternative source of funding to activate the early actions.

Wina Wina, Zambia Red Cross highlighted that the next steps for anticipatory action in Zambia are to 1) develop the Early Action Protocol for droughts and 2) integrate the lessons from the flood EAP simulation to refine the operational procedures. He explained the need to expand collaboration with other stakeholders beyond the National forecast-based-financing working group. Other speakers reiterated the need to broaden collaboration with wider actors.
