The focus is on preserving the world's last large forest areas - both in the tropics and in temperate regions - combating climate change, working for living oceans, and conserving rivers and wetlands worldwide. The mission: If we succeed in permanently preserving the greatest possible diversity of habitats, we can also save a large percentage of the world's animal and plant species - and at the same time preserve the network of life that also sustains us humans.
