Mr Gado Djibo Abdouramane from the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre presented the challenges that come with implementing FbA in conflict areas in Mali:

“Our work is largely based on the availability of existing data. However, access to data in conflict areas is very challenging. To overcome the lack of access to data, is to collaborate with communities helping with transferring data to the national Meteorological Service.”
