"In addition to capacity building, there is a lot of testing taking place. The drones e.g. or modelling tools are rolled out slowly. We will improve the forecasting of locust, if we combine soil moisture, satellite data, breeding observations etc. And we have to look how to do rapid assessments in countries not being part of the commissions."

Further Cyril Ferrand explains:
