What exactly is anticipatory action: Essentially the actions that are taken before a climate or weather shock or any other shock or their humanitarian impact is occuring. Actions taken based on defined thresholds from the forecasts and risk analysis so that we are able to anticipate not just the hazard but the impact the hazard.
