Wolfgang Boer was born in Gelsenkirchen (Germany) in 1959. He studied at the universities of Montpellier (France), Frankfurt am Main (Germany) and graduated at Bonn (Germany) in 1991. He practiced in a privat office in Hilden (Germany) before he became scientific assistant at the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Bonn from 1992 to 1994. Boer has his own privat office since 1994 in Euskirchen (Germany). Boer has been the General secretary of the managing comitee of the DGAeZ (German Federation for Esthetic Dentistry, associated to the EAED and IFED) for nine years and is member of numerous dental federations. Member of the editors board of “Aesthetische Zahnheilkunde” (European Journal for aesthetic dentistry). Boer has published over 50 papers on the topic „aesthetic dentistry“, focussing on direct resin composites, full-ceramic restorations, bleaching and step by step procedures. He has been lecturing over 450 times in over 23 different countries.

Gabriel Krastl received his degree in dentistry from the University of Tübingen, Germany in 1998 and has been a staff member and research associate until 2005. From 2005 to 2014 he was a senior research associate at the Clinic of Periodontology, Endodontology and Cariology in Basel, Switzerland. 2006 he co-founded the interdisciplinary Center of Dental Traumatology at the Basel University. Since 2014 Gabriel Krastl is Professor and Chair of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Periodontology at the University Hospital of Würzburg, Germany and directs the Center of Dental Traumatology which he founded in 2015. He published more than 150 papers mostly in the field of endodontology, dental traumatology and restorative dentistry and serves as a reviewer in several scientific journals.
