Simone Strey is now opening the stage for company presentations in the field of Industrial Digitalisation. Her startup Plantix helps millions of farmers with reducing their crop failure and increasing productivity. The farmer simply takes a photo of his diseased crop with the Plantix app and within seconds gets a disease diagnosis along with suggestions for remedial action. With the help of AI, Plantix brings knowledge of international crop scientists even to the most rural farmers. 
The importance of an app like that is clear: "In 2050 we will need to produce 70 percent more food", Strey states and continues to explain "with Plantix we wanna start an revolution in the agri-supply chain". Plantix enables a data exchange between producers and retailers to help optimizing work processes.

Dörte Hirschberg is now presenting the cloud based system Ideafox. The startup aims to cover all steps from collective ideation, co-creation and evaluation, to idea realization. Hirschberg explains that "Ideafox addresses the following three needs of companies": 

• It helps to get better solutions by involving a broad group of participants 
• it helps to implement those solutions faster 
• and increases employee engagement

She continues to talk about three use cases of the Ideafox platform. First of all, Ideafox helps its customers with innovation management by leading them through the whole chain of innovation. Second, it helps with process improvements in businesses and third it improves knowledge management within the company.
