Our first startup to cover is Typs. Jaime Jimenez is the founder and CEO. His startup offers a product for companies to deal with salaries:
„Wouldn’t it be great for employees if they get paid whenever they need it? Sometimes life doesn’t wait til payday.“
But changing paycycles is not easy for companies, explains Jimenez. „Imagine what would happen, if each employee would come to you and ask for their salary whenever they need it.

But as 48% of employees in Spain just get enough money to survive on a day-by-day basis, they’re constantly under financial stress. The goal of companies should be to improve the financial wellness of their employees. In doing so the retention rate of employees will decrease while having zero impact on the company’s cashflow.
