"Some time ago, the content producers were smart, but the platforms were often not that smart - now this has changed", emphasizes Doepfner. Today it is important that content distributors stay neutral. The platforms have to share the earned money with the content distributors - and they have to know more about the costumers - revenue share is one of the most important points.
Another topic is also important: platforms often tend to keep control of the content. "AI is perfect in recognizing content like pornography - but not hate speech", explains Varsavasky. Content distributors still have to have control over their content instead of giving it to platforms. That has to be one of the most important goals of Western societies, as Doepfner emphasizes.
