There is one thing which also plays a huge role in Brandt’s team: the importance of focus. Fewer accounts can help to care better for the ones with bigger opportunities. And big opportunities are really the major goal. 

But to make an impact, the Industry Sales Team also 
  • tries to focus on the customer;
  • develops even stronger Thought Leadership;
  • and tries to get Domain Leadership.

At the same time it focuses on the development of teams, business and also customers.

For Niels Brandt it is important that each member in this team has an exact role in selling the products to the customers. That for, different qualities are important, like a good way to build up relationships or a good knowledge of e.g. the industry. The important thing is: the account team is how Teradata approaches its customers. Because of that it needs the best support – to show the best performance.
