„Who of you have seen the Q4 results from Tesla?“, opens Federico Travella from Novicap his pitch. „I guess many of you did not know that the report also states, that the average time of outstanding payapbles is higher than 70 days.“

So what’s NoviCap’s offer? It allows businesses to receive early payments for their outstanding invoices within 24 hours.
Federico claims: „Banks and non-bank alternatives have failed to address SMEs needs. On one side, the banks are operating slow and not digital and on the other side the non-bank alternatives are expensive and little flexible.“

That’s why Novicap is building the first SME centric and fully digital finance solution,
„offering flexible access, operating fast and transparent by offering fair terms.“

Splitit – splitting purchases intelligently and paying them via credit cards

Next up is Gil Don from Splitit: „I was born and raised in Israel. And when you’re born in Israel you’re born into an ecosystem where you are concerned about cashflow and credit scores.“ Many young Israeli are managing their cashflow by paying bigger purchases (e.g. for vacations) by credit card.

This principle of splitting purchases and using the maximum credit card limit is now offered by Splitit. The service can be integrated easily into online shops or offline stores: „We are a global payment and lending solution with the option to split your purchases into monthly payments. But we are not offering credits ourselves – what we are doing is to smartly use the credit limit that you already have on your credit card.“

This is also the biggest difference in comparison to other providers like Klarna or Paypal Credit – using the existing credit cards, instead of opening a new credit for each purchase.
